Folk Dance

My first semester at BYU, I made it onto one of the BYU Folk Dance teams.  This was an important experience for my future teaching because it taught me about the importance of Folk Music.  Folk music is something we focus on a lot in the Elementary School music setting.  It taught me the richness of culture that can be found in folk music.  I also learned so many dances that I hope to use in my future classroom someday.
